Who are these qualifications for?

The GA Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate is designed for learners who are new to the adult social care sector or those currently working in entry level care roles who wish to develop their knowledge, skills, and competence. It is suitable for care workers, support workers, personal assistants, and other frontline staff working in residential, domiciliary, community, or supported living settings. Learners will work in adult social care and this qualification provides a foundation in the principles and practices of adult social care and supports learners in meeting the standards required for safe, effective, and person-centred care. The GA Level 2 Adult Social Care Certificate qualification is approved by Skills for Care as meeting the requirements as set out by the Department of Health & Social Care. The GA Level 3, Level 4, and Level 5 Diplomas in Health and Social Care qualifications and the Level 6 Diploma in Health and Social Care Leadership and Management qualification are delivered under a GA exclusivity agreement.
